My friend David used to have the generic tech stock images on his site until he replaced them with his own generic tech images. All it took was a light box and a macro lens. They’re not just on his website, he’s got some really nice mounted canvas prints of hard drives and CPUs hanging in his office.
Media Development did something similar: the little images that randomly appear on each page are all from around the office. It was always interesting for me since I came on board after the photos had been taken. I’d always notice something on someone’s desk that I recognized from the website.
I did use a stock photo for a blog post I wrote about some new features on Email Center Pro- but I modified it. See if you can spot the differences.
