Man with bolt cutters around neck arrested on theft charges
An officer was flagged down on West Sixth Avenue at 12:44 p.m. by a man who pointed out a pair who he said had taken some of his belongings, police said. The man told police he’d been the victim of a car theft Monday night.
Police gained probable cause to investigate outstanding theft charges on three vehicles. Police said they believe the man and woman committed thefts from vehicles together.
Unlikely it was the guy who broke into my car but I just liked that he had a boltcutter necklace. There were 13 theft from vehicle reports Tuesday.
The window is fixed, by the way. Most of the glass is out of the interior. My GPS was taken, also a laptop hard drive with some music on it.
