Here’s Al Roker also pretending to be reporting live from Quincy.
He’s actually on the far side of the “old” bridge- the Bayview Bridge, in the background, has gone from westbound only to serve both directions of travel. The floodwaters would have to raise quite a bit to actually affect the newer bridge.
Most of Quincy is on a high bluff overlooking the river, and while the riverfront parks are all flooded and there’s some danger to the water treatment plant, there’s no danger at all to the actual city. Not sure where the woman Al’s talking to is from but they must have trucked her in from somewhere else.
