I changed the layout. I mainly wanted somewhere to put a twitter feed and some links and things. I was TOTALLY going to design something completely unique and cool and web 2pointOH! but I ended up drawing rectangles in a notebook and laying down guides in photoshop for an hour. At which point I realized that web design is a lot more fun when a designer just gives you the .psd and all you have to do is write some CSS. Plus, I get enough web coding at work- it’s not as much fun as it used to be after I spend all day elbow-deep in the stuff.
Then I saw that The Fifth Element was on TBS HD so I just picked one of the pre-fab themes.
Look, though! I added some widgets! See that twitter feed? Sure, it’s the stock code, but I wrote some CSS to make it less ugly!
Sometime I’ll make a really awesome web 2.0 theme but I’m just so LAZY.
